LOCKED 2026-10-25 as mother of sir-john-st-clere-1387 (CIPM VII 686: heir is 'son of the said John and Alice'). Widow 1335, living (complained to the king Mar 1335). Maiden name unknown. LEAD (not linked): compiled trees (rootsweb dav4is) call her Alice de Audley, dau. of James de Audley x Margaret Bereford - unverified; would explain Philip St Clere's later Audley inheritance.
