Gerald Seymour Guinness was born, in 1862. He was the son of Richard Seymour Guinness and Elizabeth Jane Susanna Darley. He married Eleanor Grace de Capell Brooke, daughter of Captain Arthur Watson de Capell Brooke and Eleanor Frances Thornhill, on 5 August 1897. He died on 5 September 1933, from deliberately self-inflicted gunshot wounds. He lived at Dorton House, Thame, Oxfordshire, England.

Anthony Wentworth Guinness was born on 4 August 1907. He was the son of Gerald Seymour Guinness and Eleanor Grace de Capell Brooke. He married, firstly, Juliette Frances Josephine D'Aven Williams, daughter of Godfrey Herbert Joseph Williams and Hon. Miriam Isabel Thellusson, in October 1929. He and Juliette Frances Josephine D'Aven Williams were divorced in 1938. He married, secondly, Diana Barbara Boone, daughter of Major Charles A. Boone, in 1938. He died on 9 April 1960 at age 52.
